Hi everyone! I’m Jana and I’m from Prilep. I spent the last two years in the wonderful Duino studying in UWC Adriatic. I would need a thousand words to describe my UWC experience, but for now I’ll just say that it was simply unforgettable. Everything that I learnt these past two years has made me the person I am today. My favourite thing about Duino will always be the people, my primi (firsties), secondi (second years) and the old grandmas and grandpas who greeted me with a ‘Ciao bella!’ every day. You can rest assured that I used these two years to eat as much traditional Italian food and drink as much coffee as I could. A bit more about myself: at practically any time you can find me with my head in a book, I love to be in nature with animals and I can play Beethoven on the ukulele. I’ll be spending these next four years in the libraries of Oxford studying ancient Greek classics, so if you find yourself nearby, don’t hesitate to contact me.
