Lale began her adventure in Veles, where she came in contact with UWC through youth initiatives. She continued to actively work on projects for peace, activism and art in UWC Mostar, and went on to the University of Oklahoma in the United States. She currently lives in California, where she's working on her doctorate, and works as a researcher and translator. In her free time, she does all kinds of things, including design, climbing, and learning Native American languages.
