Kristijan comes from Strumica and first travelled on a plane when he left the Balkans on his way to UWC Costa Rica. He continued his education at Macalester College in Minnesota, US, where he studied economics and applied math.

Kristijan currently lives in San Francisco and works as an economic consultant in court proceedings. In his free time, he loves to drink coffee or vitamin water and read novels, economic articles, and a variety of leftist politics.
