Jordan Sokoloski
Pearson UWC of the Pacific, 2007-2009
Born in Skopje but moved to Germany as a child, I started living between two cultures early on. That's why it was a logical step to leave Germany, too, and continue my education at Pearson UWC of the Pacific in Canada, with 200 co-years from 100 different countries.
There, even though our lived experiences were different, our curiosity, free-thinking, and amibition to work towards a better world connected us. My interest in political economy led me to the University of Chicago in the US, where I was a student assistant at the Center for East European Studies with Professor Viktor Freedman. During the summer, I interned in the government of my homeland, Macedonia.
After my undergraduate studies, I returned to Germany and gained experiences in a bank and a multinational corporation. What followed were masters studies in management in Germany and the Netherlands, as well as my recent experience as a strategy consultant.
In my free time, you can join me for a half-marathon together anywhere!
