Bozhidar (Bobo) Stankovikj
UWC Robert Bosch College, 2014-2016
Bobo loves meeting friends. He first started doing so in Skopje, at "Yahya Kemal" and the Youth Educational Forum. Not long afterwards, because of debate and programming, he continued to meet friends throughout the Balkans -- even helping organize two summer academies called Networking 101!
The two years at UWC RBC were incredibly formative for Bobo -- they showed him that he can have friends from the whole world! So, he did what UWC always encouraged: wherever he went -- from Princeton for his undergrad to the Yenching Academy at Peking University for his masters -- Bobo tried to build a community. Along the way, he worked as a barista and a tour guide, he researched animal diets by collecting antelope poop, and he's the proud founder (though, sadly, the only member) of the Macedonian Society at both of his universities.
Bobo now works as a management consultant in Washington, D.C. But he does not forget to keep in touch with his friends -- his goal is to call at least one friend every day.
