Ivana Jordanovska
UWC Mostar, 2008-2010
I'm Ivana from Kumanovo, a student at UWC Mostar between 2008 and 2010. UWC perfectly prepared me to continue my education at the Institute of Political Science in Paris (Sciences Po), where I studied trans-Atlantic relations. After graduation, I actively participated in the non-governmental sector in North Macedonia through my work with the Young European Federalists (JEF). From 2013 to 2015, I was a member of the Executive Board of JEF Europe.
I have worked for the Westminster Foundation for Democracy on a regional program to strengthen the oversight role of parliaments in the Western Balkans, and in the OSCE mission in Bosnia & Herzegovina on a program to fight hate and prevent violent extremism. From 2017 to 2018 I was an adviser to Prime Minister Zoran Zaev on the matter of cooperation with international organizations.
Since 2018, I have been a Fulbright Scholarship recipient for a Masters program in international relations at New York University. I am currently a Program Manager in the program "Women in Foreign Policy" in the network of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) in the New York branch.
