Marko believes that positive energy will save the world. Whether he finds his way through the alleys of Veles, Tanzanian streets, or even American roads – Marko tries to find beauty in the small things that are his source of hope and inspiration. He cannot live without his family and friends, and when he is far from them, he tries to bring a smile to their faces at least once a day (mainly with some (un)successful jokes). Life in Tanzania was a fairy tale (a real one!) for him. You will often hear him talk about his love for the Tanzanian community, moments of introspection, photos from his many adventure trips, and memories of courage, risk, and perseverance that he will share with his children and grandchildren. Tanzania is his home; his dream is to return as soon as possible! In the next four years, Marko aims to: learn 2 languages, take photos professionally, and drink coffee with all UWC friends in their countries.
